Eat lots of vegetables and whole fruit, especially berries, pears, plums and apples. Avoid concentrated fruit juices, though, as this will affect your blood sugar stability and energy levels. Go for raw nuts, seeds, avocados, apples and pears to get essential healthy fibre and essential fats, which will slow down your digestion and give you more energy. Chia and flaxseeds are also high in fibre, easily digested, and full of Omega 3 and protein.

Organic produce has more nutrients that are easier for the body to use as they are not burdened with  the chemicals load from non-organic produce. This produce is more likely to inflammation that can leads to infections. Herbs and spices such milk thistle seed, dandelion, burdock root and turmeric, all provide excellent detox support. For instance, turmeric is an anti-inflammatory, improves digestion and helps cleanse the liver and the skin, and has many other health benefits. Organic produce has better quality vitamins and minerals that are absorbed by the body, helping to fight off disease.
